tennis camp just ended.
it wasnt hell fun kinda camp, more of a rlly slack one.
but we did have our fun and we all enjoyed ourselves.
many ppl didnt turn up for the camp and the first day was screwed.

my wrist is freaking pain now and i dont know why im still bloggin oh well..this week's rather hectic with all the tests and all.first up was math lecture test on tuesday which drove me rlly up the wall and i failed terribly.thn it was gp essay test.oh well, rlly hope i'll do well la! like hurrhurr.i slept the moment after i finished writing the gp essay.fast asleep.i sleep at 11 every night and wake up at 3 plus4 to study.wht the..but yes, i did tht. thn it was chem on wednesday plus the amazing rugby match that made a whole new history bout SA rugby for the past 17 years. WE WON RJC, clinching the A div police cup 2006. baby left his cup here haha((: beaming with honour!!((: hahah.oh well,congrats you ruggers!!thn it was yesterday the amazing tennis matches played by our very own sajc tennis guys against vjc. we didnt beat them hands down.it was a close fight. ((: i cheered till im like going voiceless soon la((: hahah congrats guys.now mr chong owes us a treat(: yeaahhh!!today, like wht baby said, was our first time after so many weeks. we left schl with our bags during daytime!normally it'll be like sunsetting or something like that.haha.((:due to trainings of cos.i better be off to study physics cos it'll be another hectic week next week.good bye, sparkiepants.

tennis season is coming to an end as we play SRJC this sat.no point mourning over our losses oh well i guess it made the team bond even further together.acjc's match was terrible as we were like so freaking scared even before the battle was fought.hwa chong's match was so much better and even though we lost, at least we tried our best.we rushed down to old police academy after our tennis matches yesterday and proud to say that sajc rugby beats acjc 13-10!! congrats ruggers!!haha(: i bet tennis ppl bring you guys loads and loads of luck!!haha!oh well, tennis team has rlly rlly come so far tht by God's grace, we made it to quarters.its now INTENSIFIED STUDYING.oh well baby, that means lesser time spent together..

it was so long since i last blogged.not really actually.150406.ha, so much has happened over this past week,im sure you'll understand. first it ws the match against mjc.i was hit in the eye by a fateful tennis ball and it caused internal bleeding in my left pupil.i was freaking scared i tell you but i managed to smile still, dont know why. peace within me, perhaps. i know i'll be fine.thank God. i was rushed to the A&E.thanks mrchong and tineh.haha.we were laughing in the taxi and i think the taxi uncle thinks we're mad.i mean, im one eye blind at tht time la.yupp,thn i was hospitalised for like 5days 4 nights.the nights were freaking long i dont know why.they werent like tht when i have to go school the next morning in the past.i miss school so much im sure if i dont get to go back soon i'll die.sigh,thank God there's still baby.he's so swweeeettt.i love him.and also must forget SATENNIS TEAM, thanks for their concern and for all who visited me during my most lonely hours.last but definately not the least, o6s12.thanks for the small but MEANINGFUL present.you are all so sweet!ha.and ms huang too of cos((:haha.

second week of schl

its the third day of the second week now and the dsa ppl have to stay back after flag raising. the DMs separated the girls and the guys and we had to stand in three rows.ha. for the guys, they were being caught for either long hair or tinted hair or both.ha whtever. the girls, coloured bras, earrings and the skirt.ha(:
i passed or rather almost all the girls did but the guys had to leave the college and get their hair cut for two hours. they missed lectures but..haa(: nvrm.
GP lecture was okae hmm, kinda interesting though.haa(: thn we had a library talk which i didnt rlly listen followed by a half hour break.ha(: thn it was chinese which i totally turned off and thn physics which made my head grew bout 4 times bigger. its like on measurements but i dont understand anything la.wth. ha okae.not everything but most of them. its chimology can. i asked the ppl next to me and they dont know also.ha so nvm. i copied the notes and so i lend them to boonrong, colin and kokyong.ha hopefully jelly doesnt crumple my notes. haha. but boonrong said he'll try to figure how to do or rather when he knows he'll teach me.welldone.ha((:

had trials in the afternnon and coach excused louisa and i from the trials and he said he has already seen us train and all.ha before tht we were freaking out lar. but okaee. thn the coach was like asking the J1s to leave the court as there werent enough space for everyone to train so yea.we left and then warren was suggesting we run for half an hour.i almost died upon hearing tht but i was like, okae, let's run 2.4km !haha. thn we ran..haha. louisa, christine, sharlene, colin, warren and i. haa.we ran and we were like super on!!((: hahha.sa sa tennis !!

as i sit here thinking im going to a new schl tmr, rlly makes me realise tht time rlly flies. its like just a few years back when i was only in sec one.

when the psle results were released, i was posted to STC.
i wanted so badly a transfer and by God's grace, mrs lee approved.
i went to st margs, a schl where i only knew jiemin, louisa and alicia.
jiemin and i were posted to 1e3 when everything began.
when the high bags became low
when the socks were folded.
when we tried to be cool and grown up but we werent.
thn i was posted to 2e5 when i knew more of them.
tennis captain came next and math rep.
scoldings received form ms lee, ms lum and mrs khor were not forgotten.
the reasons why i got them are still remembered by now.
but i rlly thank God for them because if not for them, i think i wouldnt who i am now.
not rlly tht, but its like, they taught me something somehow.

secthree was both horried but fun.
happy yet sad.
friendship camp, all the shoutings, all the fun we had with uncle stanley- mr lim.

haha(: the trip to tanjong puteri was like so so long !but we
reached there early than most of them who took cars

the retreat was overall okay, got closer and more gum with soarers
probably, that's becos we just came back from the so...ar camp!

we had our lousy so lousy bungalow! wth, everyone else's was like WHAO !

whao! went glowing's camp at kembangan @ navigators! it was great but we had t leave early to meet carmen.so we left and met her in church. camp was funn !!
the walk out of navigators with estar and zf was scary i tell you and i seriously did not see that stupid toad larhh.wahlao.anw, its just super scary and all.the hair of the tree huh.
did zai pei's work in the train back to kembangan and prince helped me many many along the way(: haa.i finshed it and managed to sleep from eunos to kembangan.and there's the walk again. daddy and jason were like freaking me out with emily rose and telling me all sorts of subbish scary stuffs.(even if its ridiculous, but cos ure scared and its so dark, you'll be freak out rte?) anw, we were finally @the navigators and there was alr wash up and sleeping time.of cos we didnt sleep. we played cards and wth, the cards were also freaking us out larhh. whao.enyu performed magic and it was uhhh..freaky, i would say.

yesterdayy was great ! star gazing most probably ! ((: haha.but i did a lil history okae! yesterday was greeted with 3 full hours of amath !((:till pulled through.yeahhyeahh! went church and saw isabel studying with her four others.haha.((: well, she was like AHEM-ing me alll the way and i hope you read this so you know i am AHEM-ing you back !haha.((: had fellowship.it was, okae i suppose.

MY COMPO WHICH I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON.HAA.((:
FEAR

I glanced at my watch on my left wrist which was ticking away. Feeling a sense of urgency in me, i knew i run away in the nick of time.i took in one deep breath, then tow. I glanced at my watch again.

" Thirty minutes more to go before the break of dawn", i muttered softly to myself.

The air was cool and crisp, the kind when the air feels like toothpaste and each breath makes me gasp. I scanned the coast once, then twice, and i made sure it was clear. I closed my eyes and I knew i have to go.

Things have not been doing too well since Father re-married Anne. He was no longer himself, the one whom i never fail to look up to. When Mother left us three years ago, Father has always been so strong and always there for me. He would make sure that i have enough to eat and sleep, and, of course, he would make sure he spent enough time with me. He always believe that a growing child needs at least a parent to be there for him. Ocassionally, Father would cook my favourite dishes and I knew his favourite hobby was to see me smile. However when Anne joined us, nothing seems to remain the same.

Father always stay up late at night to work and is seldom at home. At first, i thought that this will come to an end, but i was wrong. Anne told me one day we have to move to somewhere else and that i have to bid goodbye to this apartment which I have been living for five years. Although I was only seven then, I knew that the place that we were going to be was nothing to soothe the eye ot the soul. It was a place where hundreds if thousands of people lived until they could afford to somewhere else nicer. She told me that Father was in debt and will have to work till through the nights, but i did not believe her.I often stay up late at night to wait for Father's return, but he never did. I thought things will not be any worse, but i knew i was wrong.

Every house in the new neighbourhood was painted with a different pastel colour, probably in the hope of lifting the spirits of those who had to live in them and giving the area some sort of character. Ours was pink on the ouside, which belied the filth and misery that existed inside those flimsy walls. Behind the house was a garden, which backed on to the carpark and the playgrounds of my junior school. The other houses decorated themselves hoping to add on a little light and joy in their life, but this was beyond what Anne can imagine. Anne was bad tempered and she was loud and violence. Often a time she would scream down the hallway and beckon me to run to her with her cane- my nigtmare.

It just happened a week ago when as usual, Father was not around. Anne ruled the house like the tyrant she was. Some of the rules were completely irrational, but as a child, I accepted the things they were. I just returned home from school and with an optimistic attitude, i thought today will be a better day. But i was wrong. When i entered the small and crammed house, iI heard my name echoing down the halls. It was Anne's.

"Brian! Brian! Up here at once! In five! Four! Three!"

I threw my schoolbag on the floor and flew up the flight of stairs. I dashed into Anne's bedroom, nearly collasping onto the floor.

"Yes, mum?"

"The cheek of you calling me mum! It took you more than five seconds to get up here and where is my cane?" bellowed Anne as I hung my head in fear. " Ten seconds is all you have and go fetch my cane now!"

I raced down the halls desperately searching for a cane but i could not find. Not even one.

"Hurry up! Hurry up!" Anne barked.

Frightened by her screams, i ran up to her room empty-handed.

"Where's my cane?"

Before I could answer her, Anne caught me by surprise samping across the room and grabbing me by the back of my shirt. She hauled me to my feet, the neck of the shirt cutting my throat. I could not breathe. As i flailed around in the air, desperately struggling to get some fresh air into my lungs, she yanked my trouses down with her free hand and started laying me with my own belt. I tried to put one hand behind me to intercept the blows, while I struggled to pull my collar away from my windpipe with the other hand. My feeble attempts to defend myself seems to stroke up her fury. She caned me ever harder, leaving marks and scars on my body. I was slowly out of energy, and soon, my world seems to blacken.

When i woke up, I was laying on the floor of Anne's bedroom, the place where she caned me. I felt a headache wash over me as if i had a massive hangover. I felt the bones in my back aching and I realised i could not even move.

"Am I paralysed?" my insides were screaming.

"Oh! You're finally awake!"

That was Anne's voice and i soon realised she was walking up and down my back. I never knew she was so heavy as compared to her small frail body. I could feel my skin tearing and i was gasping for air. She began to jump on me and i thought i was not going to live through that day.

"Listen hard, boy.Listen hard. I loathe children especially people like you! I want you to suffer the way I did when I was a child! Because I did not have a colourful childhood, i will never hear to letting you have one! I want you to have a childhoon painted with black and only black! I want.."

Anne continued shouting at the top of her voice but I tried to block out the words she said. Her words cut me like a blade and it was bleeding so much that I could not regain my composure. I cried silently in my heart and as tears rolled down my bony cheeks, Anne continued to jump on my back, just that this time with a lot much strength.

" I have to leave.Leave this place of misery and one of pain." I decided after what i have expeienced.

I packed my bag silently at night and looked once more around the house. I could not bear to leave this place, especially when i have not seen my Father for such a long long time. However as i glanced at my watch I knew I have to leave this place with a woman with absurd ideas and actions beyond what a small frail figure can resort to. I took in a deep breath and i stepped out of the house after making sure that Anne was fast asleep. Although I was only seven then, i knew that if i do not leave this place, I will nor have a future, let alone a bright one. I wanted to be like just any another ordinary child, to have a dream, a hope and a decent life. I glanced back at my house once again and I knew my departure will be goo to both Anne and I.

ISNT THAT LONG?AHAHA.HAD HISTORY IN THE MORNING FOR LIKE BOUT TWO HOURS AND FOLLOWED BY MATHS TUITION FROM TWELVE THIRTY TO TWO THIRTY.I DONT KNOW WHY BUT I WAS UBER TIRED WHEN I CAME HOME AND I SLEPT FOR SAY TWO HOURS LAA!! I FEEL SO GUILTY RIGHT NOW AND I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON MY WONDERFUL COMPO WHICH TOOK UP ONE AND A HALF HOURS OF MINE!! OKAY, I BETTER IMPROVE ON MY ENGLISH I TELL YOU.I DARE NT SHOW MY PROGRESS REPORT, THOUGHT IT WAS AN IMPROVEMENT COMPARED TO MIDYEARS. BUT IM MUGGING FOR PRELIMS KKAE.ESPECIALLY FOR MATH ! I DONT WANNA DROP I TELL YOU!

CONGRATS TO THOSE WHO HAVE DONE SUPER WELL! it means that you dont have to take chinese anymore, well, for this year at least.and to those who did not do well, continue working hard and you'll make it there.

GCE o'level MOTHERTONGUE results were released tday.there were tears of joy and regret. i witnessed them all.it really motivated me even more to work hard for the coming prelims and all.COMGRATS DEBBIE ON YOUR AONE ! went subway with melisaa, lausanne, christinee! ate the BIGGEST gARGANTUAN bread ive ever eaten ! its so big larrhh! and plues masa's COOKIIEE, i had a FULL LUNCH !
